Shadow EDUSCAN AS LSA PROVIDER
Eduscan is an institute which is headed by a licensed educational psychologist, Dr. Alka Kalra, under whose guidance the Learning Support Assistants (LSA) are not only professionally equipped but also provided with various tools and techniques to support the kids that are differently abled to cope with their day to day academic demands. Learning Support Assistants are regularly monitored and supervised by a team of senior psychologists that work at Eduscan. We also have a very robust system of reporting to the school authorities as well as to the parents. We provide the schools with the Learning Support Assistants depending upon the need of the child. These assistants are trained to assist the children with attention deficit or hyperactivity disorder, children within the autism spectrum, children with dyscalculia/dyslexia/ dysgraphia on the school campuses. -
What ROLE OF THE LSA
Plan and implement activities to support the IEP targets, follow structured literacy intervention programmes, and report professionally on the student's progress and outcomes when communicating with parents and teachers. Provide some in-class support in lessons, to facilitate successful access to differentiated learning, Work alongside teachers and other staff to support pupils’ learning, especially those with SEND or a learning barrier. Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils. Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement, under the guidance of teachers. Monitor, maintain & review records of pupil progress over time and support teachers to plan subsequent learning based on their needs. Apply strategies to promote pupils’ self-esteem, self-confidence and independence Work as part of an Inclusion Team, accessing relevant training and attending parent review meetings where necessary

Working with LSA kids has made me realise that we all can solve big issues with kids with a little care and smile. So 'caring' is that Eduscan trait that resonates the most with me. My kids call me the world’s best mom as I make sure that I listen to all their issues and solve them. I similarly try to bond with the special kids at campus and listen to all their issues and make sure to get a smile on their face before they leave.

Being a ceramic expert I find myself passionate about passing this knowledge to my students and colleagues. My kids often tell me that I get a twinkle in my eye when I give beginners classes on potters wheel. So just like my firm Eduscan, I find myself passionate about my skills

This is my first time putting my son at an educational centre apart from schooling. so I didn't know what to expect. Ms. Bhavani's follow up after registration and welcomed me with the best knowledge of what the contents of the course will be was very attentive and clear. My son's confidence has improved in just three days, his shyness disappeared and I must say my son felt at home with the warm atmosphere and the care of each and every teacher. Teachers worked at good pace, and most importantly, was very good at communicating, weekly reports by Ms. Fidah were on time. Most importantly they brought out the potentional of my kid where as a parent even I didn't know my son is capable of. They do it with the love and care for their job and kids. Kudoos to you for a job wonderfully done and ongoing. I would definitely recommend EDUSCAN to others and will ensure my son attends more training in the future from you for his continued progress to succeeding as a leader.
