    A1. All assessments are conducted by a team of qualified psychologists and special education specialists, under the leadership of Dr. Alka Kalra. Our professionals aretrained in using standardized diagnostic tools and in developing practical, evidence- based intervention plans.

    A2. A psycho-educational assessment is a comprehensive evaluation of a child's cognitive abilities, academic skills, emotional state, and behavioural patterns. The assessment helps identify learning disabilities, attention disorders, developmental delays, and behavioural challenges. The results guide the development of individualized educational plans (IEPs) and support strategies.

    A3. You may consider an assessment if your child shows:
    • Difficulty with reading, writing, or math.
    • Delayed language or speech development.
    • Trouble paying attention or following instructions.
    • Social or behavioural challenges at home or school.
    • Suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder or ADHD.

    A5. After the assessment:
    • A detailed report is shared with parents.
    • An individual feedback session is scheduled to explain results and recommendations.
    • Guidance is provided for school accommodations, therapy options, or further interventions if needed.

    A8. The duration depends on the type of assessment. Most evaluations are completedin 1–3 sessions, each lasting 60–90 minutes. A follow-up session is scheduled to discuss the results and provide recommendations.

    A9. Absolutely. Parents provide essential background information and insights. In many cases,parent questionnaires and interviews are part of the process. We also offer parent guidance sessions to help implement recommendations at home.

    A10. Yes, based on the assessment results, we offer guidance for intervention, planning and may refer you to in-house or partnered professionals for therapy, counselling, or academic support.
